Responsible Gambling Manager

We are looking for a Safer Gambling Manager to join our dynamic Operations team based in our offices in Athens!

Your role

As a Safer Gambling Manager, you will be joining our Operations team and you will be responsible to create and ensure a safe environment for our customers, by designing and overseeing the implementation of the company’s Responsible Gambling policy and procedures. Moreover, you will:

  • Oversee the implementation of the Responsible Gambling policy and monitor the Safer Gambling processes and procedures
  • Lead and guide team members with a focus on industry knowledge and, and support them to contribute effectively to departments' goals and targets
  • Ensure Responsible Gaming compliance with regulatory requirements and applicable laws across Novibet
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to assess the effectiveness of the Safer Gambling policies, processes and interactions
  • Identify areas of Safer Gambling risk to develop and implement measures to address such items as well as launch new initiatives
  • Create a Responsible Gaming culture within the company and provide RG awareness training to newcomers and existing employees
  • Develop and maintain relationships with third-party organizations in the Safer Gambling field
  • Escalate suspicious cases to the Compliance department and MLRO
  • Assess key customer information in a timely manner to effectively act upon risk and request additional KYC documents
  • Analyze and make research and external tools revolving around Safer Gambling and KYC

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of working experience, in Safer Gambling/ Player Protection/ Responsible Gambling within Online Gaming Industry
  • Proven knowledge of RG/KYC/AML and a good understanding of Online Gaming products
  • Leadership skills with a focus to motivate and develop team members
  • Detail-oriented, with strong analytical skills and an investigative mindset
  • Critical thinking, having decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, internally and externally
  • Strong communication with the ability to build trusted relationships with people at all levels, across multiple functions
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced challenging environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Greek and English
